Experience:
Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-14, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of asset management principles, practices, techniques, and procedures; all matters pertaining to the strategy, policies, regulations, instructions, programming, budgeting, execution, and inter office workings. NOTE:
Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of Federal laws, regulations, policies, principles and complexities of Federal real estate situations and transactions and types of property interests held by the United States. Senior level skills in engineering programming and design will be applied when applicable. Knowledge of negotiation principles and practical knowledge of how such principles are applied in negotiations involving Federal real property. Ability to resolve complex issues to the mutual satisfaction of all parties. Senior level skills in mastery of principles and procedures involving policy development and implementation with regard to real property assets for major projects involving complex situations. Skill in implementing and analyzing Federal laws, Department of Defense rules, regulations, processes and procedures, including environmental law, relating to real and personal property. Skill in analyzing and interpreting a wide variety of issues and formulating policy or procedural solutions to problems. Ability to analyze and apply innovative solutions to effect resolution. Executive skills to gather, assemble, and analyze facts and draw conclusions. Executive level ability of research methodologies, including computer-assisted technologies, necessary to identify applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies to the mission of the Air Force related to real property asset management. Executive level ability to communicate effectively, orally or in writing, in order to interface with congressional members, staffers, Federal and State officials, other Federal agencies, commanders and high ranking officials with the Department of Defense. Advanced public speaking with the ability to represent the Air Force at national conferences or media inquiries. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK
Experience:
Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
