Medical Director
Lead a team of program managers, physicians, nurses, physician assistants, medical specialists, quality assurance, and administrative support staff Responsible for ensuring proper application of medical standards and medical case disposition recommendations Collaborate with the NGB/SG leadership to ensure proper application of medical standards Determine if sufficient information is present to recommend approval of the case within acceptable levels of risk Aide medical providers in medical determination decisions Elevate cases for military coordination only when disqualification is strongly considered Report metrics and data to NGB/SG leadership.

Experience:
Physician (MD or DO) Specialty in occupational health, primary care, family medicine, flight medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine or similar Graduate of Residency in Aerospace Medicine (RAM) or equivalent 17-20 years of relevant experience Possess a strong understanding of the relevant DoD, AF, and ANG policies and guidance and experience in interpretation and application of regulatory standards Demonstrated expertise in communications (oral and written) at senior military level Talented writer, briefer, presenter, and leader.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
